Government ignores damage caused by whale fishing, Suit says

Rocha (Jan. 10, 2022, 7:35 p.m. EST) – An environmental group sued the National Marine Fisheries Service in federal court in California, accusing it of failing to protect humpback whales by turning a blind eye to commercial fishing on the west coast that endanger whales when they become entangled in fishing gear.
